Endless Summer Streets

Endless Summer Streets is the City of Long Beach's open streets program, designed and managed by City Fabrick, in 7 local business improvement associations (BIDs). Throughout the summer of 2020, a toolkit was developed to implement safe, fun, and livable streets with outdoor dining, passive programming, and new parklets.

Inspired by the movie The Endless Summer, a visual identity and signage system was developed for the open streets program, incorporating the use of circles, squares, and triangles, which mark areas for standing, programming, and movement, respectively. Additionally, public health signage was designed & used in all areas.
