Born and raised in suburban Detroit, Jason spent six years growing up in Shanghai, China. A creative at heart, he grew up painting landscapes, drawing cities, and making short films until college, where he began pursuing creative work professionally. Now as a designer, Jason's work is relevant, distinctive, and simple. He believes that the pressing social issues of our time can, and must be addressed creatively.
Outside of work, Jason pursues an array of hobbies and interests. He's played basketball since grade school and enjoys watching the NBA, particularly Damian Lillard and the Portland Trailblazers. Jason also listens to all kinds of music, especially his favorite artist, Mac Miller. He loves exploring and analyzing cities, having graduated with a degree in urban planning & public policy from USC. He's currently based in Washington, DC.
